  • • As a Support Learning Consultant co-op/intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of BMO Financial Group, contributing to impactful projects and gaining invaluable professional experience. This 4-month program is designed for students currently enrolled in an academic program who are eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible difference within a leading financial institution.
  • • You will play a crucial role in supporting the management and execution of assigned business or group programs and projects. This involves contributing to the design, development, and implementation phases, ensuring that all program components are delivered effectively and seamlessly.
  • • A key responsibility will be to support the overall program management lifecycle. This includes developing program components, actively promoting the program to relevant stakeholders, and meticulously ensuring the successful execution of all planned activities.
  • • You will actively participate in the design, development, implementation, and ongoing management of core program processes, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to streamlined operations.
  • • To inform program strategy, you will conduct thorough analysis of current operations and challenges, research industry best practices, and stay abreast of emerging trends within the financial sector and learning and development space.
  • • Support will be provided for the investigation, analysis, and documentation of program risks, ensuring that potential issues are identified and mitigated proactively.
  • • You will analyze data and information to derive meaningful program insights and formulate actionable recommendations for enhancement and optimization.
  • • Collaboration is key; you will work closely with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful achievement of business objectives and program goals.
  • • You will be responsible for organizing work information to guarantee accuracy and completeness, which may involve generating customized exception reports and initiative tracking reports.
  • • A vital part of the role involves communicating and reinforcing program principles, strategies, processes, and standards across all operational activities, ensuring alignment and understanding among team members.
  • • You will be tasked with gathering and formatting data into regular and ad-hoc reports, as well as creating dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and program progress.
  • • Support the execution of strategic initiatives by diligently tracking key metrics and milestones, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • • You will assist in change management activities of varying scope and type, with a focus on execution and sustainment tasks to ensure successful adoption of new processes or programs.
  • • Contribute to the development of tailored messaging for various communications, which may include writing, editing, and distributing content to different audiences.
  • • Track exception requests and their corresponding approvals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  • • You will complete complex and diverse tasks within defined rules and limits, potentially handling escalations from other employees and providing solutions.
  • • Analyze issues as they arise and determine the most effective next steps for resolution, demonstrating problem-solving capabilities.
