Field Service Technician

📋 Description

• • The Field Service Technician at Oshkosh AeroTech is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install, configure, and support electrical and mechanical systems across airport environments, playing a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of ground support equipment for commercial and military aviation operations.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring airport equipment such as gate systems, ground power units, and PCA units; performing hands-on electrical and mechanical installations; setting up network connections including IP addressing; supporting system bring-up activities; troubleshooting electrical and control systems using testing equipment; reading electrical diagrams; ensuring safety compliance; working at heights; communicating with customers; documenting work; and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
