📋 Description

• • Own the day-to-day finance engine of a fast-scaling, multi-entity real-estate fintech. From processing the first invoice to signing off the month-end file, you will touch every part of the cash-to-close cycle across the UK, Philippines, Portugal, Hong Kong and Dubai entities.
• • Drive an accurate and lightning-fast month-end close. You will prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments and balance-sheet reconciliations, ensuring every number is audit-ready and explained. Your work feeds directly into board packs, investor KPI decks and lender covenants.
• • Be the guardian of cash. You will reconcile bank positions daily, release UK payments, coordinate multi-currency payroll runs and monitor developer & sub-agent receivables so that liquidity is never a surprise. When the lettings book swings into high season, you will model cash-flow impacts and flag pinch-points early.
• • Build bullet-proof AP & AR workflows. You will design clear SLAs with suppliers, chase overdue sub-agent commissions and automate invoice capture in Xero. When exceptions occur, you will investigate, document and fix root causes so the same issue never happens twice.
• • Support statutory compliance without the scramble. You will gather PBC lists for auditors, prepare corporation-tax packs and keep policy manuals updated so every control is evidenced and every balance is traceable.
• • Champion system excellence. You will maintain the integrity of data in Xero, test new integrations with HubSpot and Count, and spot opportunities for RPA or low-code automation that cut hours off repetitive tasks.
• • Collaborate across borders and functions. You will sit with engineering to map transaction flows, join product meetings to price new offerings, and translate commercial plans into forecast scenarios the CFO can defend to investors.
• • Help scale the lettings P&L. You will maintain separate management reporting for the lettings business, run weekly cash reconciliations, and build driver-based forecasts that show how occupancy and rent growth hit EBITDA.
• • Provide rock-solid payroll cover. When the Philippines team launches a new benefits module or Dubai tweaks gratuity rules, you will model the cost, update the payroll calendar and ensure every payslip is right first time.
• • Leave every process better than you found it. Whether it is a new FX-hedging checklist, a tighter month-end timetable or a slicker supplier onboarding form, you will document, train and hand over improvements that free the team to think strategically.
• • Grow with us. In twelve months you could be leading the lettings finance vertical, owning a system implementation or mentoring the next associate we hire. Your progression is limited only by your curiosity and impact.
