📋 Description

• As Finance Counsel at Wayflyer, you will be the primary legal voice on external funding, debt facilities, and capital markets activity, ensuring legal infrastructure keeps pace with the company’s rapid growth and global expansion.
• You will work closely with commercial teams on lending and merchant cash advance products, providing practical, actionable legal advice across geographies, owning and refining contractual templates and playbooks, and stress-testing legal aspects of new product launches.
• Wayflyer is a fast-growing fintech providing working capital to small businesses through technology-driven financing, with over $6bn deployed globally and offices in Dublin, London, New York, Charlotte, Berlin, and Sydney.
• This role offers a clear path to leadership—whether leading legal for a product vertical, advancing toward General Counsel, or shaping the use of AI and legal tech within the team as the company scales.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in banking and finance
• Solid experience in facility documentation, security structuring, and cross-border financing
• Commercially minded, transactionally confident, and genuinely interested in how legal meets product
