- • As a Finance Executive specializing in Accounts Payable at Bjakcareer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our rapidly growing fintech platform. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all vendor invoices are processed accurately, payments are made on time, and that our financial records are meticulously maintained in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. - • You will be responsible for the complete end-to-end accounts payable lifecycle. This includes the meticulous verification of all incoming vendor invoices, ensuring they align with purchase orders and service agreements, and that all necessary approvals are secured. Your diligence in this process will prevent errors and ensure that Bjakcareer maintains strong relationships with its suppliers.
- • A core part of your responsibility will be the timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors. This involves managing various payment methods and ensuring that transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation to reflect the company's financial position accurately.
- • You will play a crucial role in vendor reconciliations, ensuring that our accounts payable ledger accurately reflects our obligations to our vendors. This involves comparing internal records with vendor statements and proactively addressing any discrepancies to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
- • Maintaining comprehensive and organized documentation for all AP transactions is paramount. This includes ensuring proper audit trails are in place, which is essential for both internal controls and external audits. Your ability to keep records tidy and accessible will be highly valued.
- • Supporting month-end closing activities will be a significant aspect of your role. This includes preparing necessary accruals for outstanding invoices and ensuring all payable-related entries are finalized accurately and on time, contributing to the timely generation of financial statements.
- • Ensuring strict compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal company policies is non-negotiable. You will be expected to stay updated on relevant regulations and apply them diligently in your daily tasks.
- • You will act as a key liaison between internal departments (Business, Operations, Finance Operations) and external vendors. Your ability to communicate effectively to resolve payment or billing discrepancies will be critical for smooth operational flow and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- • Assisting in both internal and external audits will require you to prepare relevant accounts payable schedules and documentation. Your preparedness and accuracy in these tasks will facilitate a seamless audit process.
