• • About the Role: Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable)
• • We are seeking a driven, analytical, and meticulous Finance Executive specializing in Accounts Receivable to join our growing team. This pivotal role is central to maintaining our company's financial health by ensuring robust cash flow, accurate revenue recognition, and timely collections. You will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end accounts receivable lifecycle, working collaboratively with our dynamic business and operations teams to achieve financial objectives.
• • Key Responsibilities:
• • **End-to-End Accounts Receivable Management:** Take ownership of the entire AR process, from initial invoicing and customer onboarding to proactive collections and meticulous customer reconciliations. This includes ensuring all billing is accurate, timely, and reflects the services and products delivered.
• • **Invoicing and Transaction Accuracy:** Oversee the timely and accurate issuance of all customer invoices. Ensure that all Accounts Receivable transactions are recorded precisely in the accounting system, adhering to established accounting principles and company policies.
• • **Proactive Collections and Receivables Monitoring:** Diligently monitor all outstanding receivables, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies for timely collection. Engage with customers professionally and effectively to follow up on overdue accounts, resolving any queries or issues that may impede payment.
• • **Billing Discrepancy Resolution:** Act as a key point of contact for resolving billing discrepancies. This involves close collaboration with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) and direct communication with customers to investigate, clarify, and rectify any issues swiftly and efficiently.
• • **Revenue Recognition Support:** Play a crucial role in supporting the revenue recognition process. Ensure that AR balances are accurately reflected in the General Ledger, providing a true and fair view of the company's financial position and revenue performance.
• • **Month-End Closing Assistance:** Actively participate in the month-end closing procedures. Prepare accurate and timely AR-related schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures required for financial reporting, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• • **Compliance and Policy Adherence:** Uphold the highest standards of compliance by ensuring all AR activities adhere to relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/MFRS), tax regulations, and internal financial policies. Maintain a strong control environment within the AR function.
• • **Reporting and Insights:** Prepare comprehensive AR reports for management, providing clear insights into key metrics such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), aging analysis, and collection trends. Use data to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• • **Audit Support:** Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary AR documentation, explanations, and supporting schedules. Ensure audit readiness within the AR function.
• • **Process Improvement and Automation:** Actively contribute to the continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of AR processes. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and leverage technology to streamline workflows.
