  • • As a Finance Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and accuracy across recurring financial and operational reporting processes. Your primary focus will be on developing, refining, and maintaining sophisticated Excel-based models and tools. These tools are designed to significantly reduce manual effort, elevate data integrity, and establish scalable reporting solutions that support our business objectives.
  • • This internship is an excellent platform to develop your analytical and technical skills while contributing to impactful projects. You will have the chance to work closely with key departments, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Research & Development (R&D), and various reporting teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on standardization and automation.
  • • Key responsibilities will involve the development and enhancement of robust Excel models. These models are essential for automating critical monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of financial information.
  • • You will be tasked with identifying existing manual and repetitive processes within current reporting workflows. Your analytical prowess will be applied to design and implement innovative automation solutions that boost efficiency and enhance the overall reliability of our reporting outputs.
  • • A significant aspect of this role will be supporting the automation and standardization of several vital reporting components. This includes, but is not limited to, monthly business review (MBR) files, key performance and metrics trackers, management and operating review (MOR) presentation materials, and R&D actuals and financial reporting.
  • • You will contribute to improving data consolidation processes. This involves streamlining the integration of forecast updates, actuals data, and detailed variance tracking, providing a clearer financial picture.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will partner closely with FP&A, Corporate Finance, and other essential stakeholders. This partnership ensures that all reporting outputs not only meet but exceed business requirements and adhere to best-in-class formatting and presentation standards.
  • • Maintaining and meticulously documenting all developed Excel models is a critical function. This ensures their long-term usability, scalability, and facilitates ease of future updates and modifications by team members.
  • • You will actively support continuous improvement initiatives by proactively recommending enhancements to the reporting structure, refining the level of detail in reports, and identifying further automation opportunities.
  • • This internship provides a foundational understanding of corporate finance operations and the strategic importance of data-driven decision-making in the healthcare industry.
