  • Join Unispace, a global leader in workplace design and delivery, as our Finance Manager for the EMEA region. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, ensuring robust financial operations, and contributing to the continued growth and success of our dynamic organization across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • As the Finance Manager - EMEA, you will oversee all financial aspects of our operations within this key geographical area. Your responsibilities will span financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, statutory compliance, and driving operational efficiencies. You will work closely with regional leadership, global finance teams, and various business stakeholders to provide critical financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. This includes managing the month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • A core part of your role will involve developing and managing the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the EMEA region. You will collaborate with department heads to establish realistic financial targets, monitor performance against budget, and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • You will play a key role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), providing in-depth insights into business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. This will involve developing key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and management reports to effectively communicate financial health and strategic direction to senior leadership.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant local statutory regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards across the EMEA region will be a critical responsibility. You will liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings and maintain strong internal controls.
  • You will be a key partner to the regional leadership team, providing financial guidance and support on commercial decisions, investment appraisals, and strategic initiatives. Your ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise business recommendations will be essential.
  • This role offers the opportunity to implement and improve financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the EMEA finance function. You will identify areas for automation and process optimization, contributing to a more streamlined and scalable financial infrastructure.
  • You will manage and develop a small finance team within the region, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional development. Mentoring and guiding team members will be crucial to building a strong and capable finance function.
  • Collaborate with the global finance team to ensure alignment with corporate financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. You will contribute to global financial projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Analyze project profitability and provide financial oversight for key projects within the EMEA region, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and meet financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic planning and execution of Unispace's business objectives by providing robust financial analysis and strategic advice.
  • This role requires a proactive, analytical, and commercially astute finance professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. You will be a key contributor to Unispace's mission of transforming workplaces and delivering exceptional client experiences across the EMEA region.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, both locally and globally.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
