📋 Description

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes for a 35-person technology company.
• Manage accruals and prepayments with precision and timeliness.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of all account balances to ensure financial integrity.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized financial documentation for internal and external audit purposes.
• Liaise directly with external auditors during audit cycles and provide requested financial data.
• Process vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payments accurately and within established timelines.
• Assist with customer invoicing processes, ensuring billing accuracy and timely revenue recognition.
• Handle ad-hoc financial and operational tasks as required to support company growth.
• Operate as one of two core members of the Business Operations team with full ownership of financial operations.
• Work in a fast-paced, AI-driven SaaS environment focused on sustainable urban infrastructure.
• Contribute to the scalability of financial systems as the company expands into new international markets.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and documentation standards across all accounting activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to align financial processes with business objectives.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and accountability in all financial reporting and transaction processing.
• Adapt quickly to evolving financial needs as the company scales from early-stage to growth-phase operations.
• Embrace a culture of ownership, where initiative and proactive problem-solving directly impact company success.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a finance or accounting position
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently independently and as a team
• Keen to learn and develop
• Friendly, proactive and positive nature
