• • As a Finance Operations Specialist focusing on Payables at Kit Global Inc., you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of our daily financial operations. This part-time, contract role is designed for a meticulous and organized individual who thrives in a remote, independent work environment and takes immense pride in maintaining financial integrity. You will be the backbone of our accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are handled with precision, timeliness, and proper documentation, directly contributing to Kit's mission of empowering creators.
• • Your primary responsibility will be the end-to-end processing of invoices. This includes receiving, accurately coding, routing for necessary approvals, and executing timely payment runs using our established systems like Bill.com. This requires a keen eye for detail to prevent errors and ensure compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
• • You will also play a critical role in managing our corporate credit card program. This involves diligently reconciling all Brex credit card transactions within QuickBooks Online, ensuring that each expense is correctly classified and coded to the appropriate general ledger account. This reconciliation process is vital for accurate financial reporting and expense tracking.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve clear and patient communication. You will serve as a point of contact for internal team members and external vendors, responding to payment inquiries with professionalism and clarity. This necessitates the ability to explain financial processes and payment statuses in an understandable manner, fostering positive relationships.
• • Proactive identification and flagging of financial discrepancies are paramount. You will be expected to identify and report spend anomalies, incorrect coding, missing approvals, duplicate invoices, and any unusual vendor activity. Prompt escalation of these issues to the Accounting Manager will be crucial for timely resolution and risk mitigation.
• • You will provide essential support during our month-end close procedures. This includes assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and diligently working to resolve any outstanding items or discrepancies that arise during this critical period, ensuring our financial statements are accurate and up-to-date.
• • Maintaining vendor relationships and data integrity is key. You will be responsible for the vendor setup process, including the collection and verification of W-9 forms, and ensuring the overall hygiene and accuracy of our vendor files. This contributes to a robust and compliant financial infrastructure.
• • A strong emphasis will be placed on maintaining meticulous documentation and a clean audit trail for all financial transactions. This ensures transparency, facilitates audits, and supports internal controls.
