Financial Accountant

📋 Description

• • The Financial Accountant is responsible for executing day-to-day activities within the accounting team, managing assignments based on prioritization and direction, and raising issues as appropriate.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and communicating data needed to understand the impact of business and accounting initiatives, preparing quarterly/annual statutory and GAAP financial statements, conducting account reconciliations for complex processes, coordinating monthly close, preparing journal entries, and supporting process improvement projects.
• • The role is part of Integon, a division of The Allstate Corporation, a leader in property and casualty insurance servicing that supports affiliates with insurance products including personal auto, homeowners, RV, motorcycle, and small business coverage.
