• • As the Group Financial Controller at Vibe, you will play a pivotal role within the Finance organization, assuming complete ownership and oversight of the Accounting and Treasury functions for both our US and French entities. Your primary mission is to ensure the absolute integrity of our financial records, maintain rigorous control over our cash flow, and produce actuals data so reliable that our CFO and FP&A team can make strategic decisions with unwavering confidence. This role demands end-to-end responsibility for the monthly close process, the development and enforcement of robust accounting policies, the meticulous management of intercompany transactions, and the diligent execution of cash management routines. You will collaborate closely with FP&A, accounting staff, and external accounting partners to achieve these objectives.
• • You are the linchpin who transforms complex, moving financial parts into a streamlined, coherent system, fostering an environment where every stakeholder trusts the numbers implicitly. • • Key responsibilities include: Owning and meticulously managing the monthly financial close process for both US and French entities, adhering to a clearly defined calendar and comprehensive checklist to ensure timely and accurate reporting. This involves coordinating closely with and challenging our external accounting firms in both the US and France to guarantee the precision and punctuality of our financial records.
• • You will be instrumental in defining, documenting, and consistently enforcing Vibe's accounting policies, covering critical areas such as revenue recognition, capital expenditures, accounting for one-off transactions, foreign currency exchange, and other relevant financial matters. Establishing clear intercompany policies and ensuring the accurate reconciliation of intercompany balances between the US and French entities is paramount.
• • Producing a comprehensive monthly actuals pack, including Profit & Loss statements by entity and for the Group, broken down by function and cost center, will be essential for enabling detailed FP&A analysis. You will perform first-level variance analysis, proactively identifying and articulating the primary drivers behind significant financial movements in the actuals.
• • Leading cash reporting and short-term cash forecasting activities, providing a consolidated and accurate view of the Group's cash position, is a core function. This includes standardizing payment processes and approval workflows, ensuring strict adherence to proper segregation of duties to mitigate financial risks.
• • You will actively monitor working capital components, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging, managing relationships with key suppliers, and overseeing prepayments. Supporting day-to-day treasury operations will also be a key part of your role.
• • Implementing pragmatic internal controls and developing clear process documentation are crucial for enhancing financial governance. You will also contribute to the ongoing improvement and optimization of our finance tools stack.
• • Managing the annual external audit process, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring a smooth and efficient audit experience, is a significant responsibility.
