Financial Operations Manager

📋 Description

• • As a Financial Operations Manager at Skylight, you will own and scale financial operations in a government contracting environment, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational insight as the company grows. This role is critical to supporting Skylight’s mission of helping government agencies deliver better public services through design and technology.
• • You will manage day-to-day finance functions including FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance; oversee contract financial setup and management; prepare monthly financial reporting packages; partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting; serve as the primary administrator for Unanet; lead invoice submission; design and maintain financial processes and controls; identify process improvements; act as a trusted financial partner translating data into actionable insights; and support core accounting activities within Unanet.
