📋 Description

  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern supports Scholar Rock’s finance team by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making in a fast-growing biopharmaceutical company focused on developing transformative therapies for serious diseases.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and validating financial data, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, supporting the annual budgeting process, analyzing variances between actuals and forecasts, and assisting in the preparation of management presentations and ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Scholar Rock is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company pioneering treatments targeting the TGFβ superfamily, with a mission to deliver life-changing therapies for underserved patient populations in neuromuscular, oncologic, and metabolic diseases, backed by a proprietary platform and strong clinical validation.
  • The intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate finance within a dynamic, science-driven environment, develop technical skills in financial modeling and analysis, and build cross-functional collaboration abilities while contributing to the financial stewardship of innovative drug development programs.
