- • Identify manual, recurring, or error-prone finance operations—such as month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and procure-to-pay—and automate them using the simplest effective approach, partnering with engineering for complex builds.
- • Serve as the primary business-logic and data expert for the finance domain, defining and maintaining canonical data rules and system configurations in collaboration with engineering teams.
- • Build and maintain cross-system integrations using a central, version-controlled, observable integration platform, avoiding one-off scripts and ensuring system interoperability.

- • Maintain the NetSuite integration ecosystem, ensuring data consistency and system reliability across connected platforms.
- • Collaborate across finance and engineering teams to bridge communication gaps, translating financial processes into technical requirements and vice versa.
- • Continuously improve financial system efficiency by eliminating redundant tasks and optimizing workflows through automation, scripting, or low-code/iPaaS solutions.
- • Stay current with financial operations best practices and system capabilities to proactively recommend enhancements that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
- • Participate in the evaluation and onboarding of new financial technologies, ensuring alignment with existing systems and scalability for global growth.
- • Maintain documentation of system configurations, automations, and integration logic to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
- • Use SQL, SuiteScript, or API-based automation tools to read, modify, and reason about system behavior and integrations, even when built by engineering teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-6 years of hands-on NetSuite administration, including configuration, customization, user access, roles, permissions, workflows, and integration management.
- • Demonstrated experience with NetSuite core modules: General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management, Accounts, and multi-location/subsidiary structures.
- • Strong drive to eliminate repetitive manual work, with a proven track record of automating finance processes using scripting, saved searches, workflows, or low-code tools.
- • Working understanding of core finance and accounting processes: month-end close, reconciliation, accounts payable/procure-to-pay, and revenue recognition.
- • Comfort with at least one of SuiteScript, SQL, general scripting, or API-based automation, and ability to interpret integration logic built by engineering teams.
