📋 Description

• As a Fintech Systems Engineer at Nivoda Limited, you will play a critical role in building the internal decision infrastructure that powers credit, payments, and risk management across a rapidly growing fintech layer supporting a global jewellery marketplace processing over $300M in annual transactions. Your work will directly enable scalable, reliable financial operations by transforming manual processes into automated, data-driven systems.
• Day to day, you will design and implement internal fintech systems using platforms like Taktile and Retool to support underwriting, payment operations, and financial monitoring; build and structure labelled datasets from internal data sources to power predictive decision models for credit risk and repayment behaviour; develop decision logic and workflows that integrate APIs and external systems to ensure accurate, consistent financial decisions across underwriting, fraud, and AML monitoring; identify manual operational workflows and automate them to reduce review time and increase scalability; collaborate with the Fintech Systems Architect to align technical implementation with broader fintech strategy; and continuously improve system reliability, observability, and performance as transaction volumes grow.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in fintech systems architecture, decision engineering, and operational automation, gaining hands-on experience with modern internal tooling platforms and API-driven architectures. You will have the opportunity to shape the foundational infrastructure of a scaling fintech product, directly influencing how financial decisions are made at scale, and grow into a technical leader in financial operations systems within a mission-driven, diverse, and inclusive organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience working with data systems, operational tooling, or analytics infrastructure
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and system integration
• Experience building internal applications and operational workflows using platforms such as Retool, Taktile, or similar decision engines
