• • The Octopus in Colour Internship in Investor Relations and Communications is a targeted opportunity for candidates identifying as Black, Black British, African or Caribbean to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven renewable energy company committed to diversity and inclusion.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the Head of IR (Listed) and external agencies in ongoing reporting cycles, contributing to investor materials, creating educational content and thought leadership, analysing peer positioning, and assisting with stakeholder engagement projects.
• • The role sits within ORIT (Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust), a London Main Market listed investment trust with a £300 million market cap, focused on renewable energy investments in Europe and Australia, and backed by Octopus Energy Generation as its investment manager.
• • Interns will gain practical exposure to financial reporting, investor communications, media engagement, digital communications, and strategic messaging in the context of listed renewable energy assets, while contributing to Octopus Energy’s broader mission of accelerating the global transition to green energy.
