- • Lead the Flight Operations Client Service Team at Ascend, a fast-growing travel company backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, delivering premium flight booking experiences to founders, investors, and executives at 30–80% below retail rates.
- • Personally handle VIP, B2B, investor, and premier clients requiring luxury travel expertise, while mastering complex travel optimization using Sabre GDS, award programs, and creative routing to build polished quotes with 98%+ accuracy and maintain 95%+ SLA adherence.
- • Lead and coach 3–5 Client Service Members through daily feedback, real-time problem-solving, weekly team reviews, and identifying development needs, ensuring seamless shift handovers and collaboration with Ticketing and Trip Fulfillment teams.
- • Drive operational excellence by proposing search optimizations, handling escalations with empathy, and contributing to workflow improvements, all while growing within a clear career path from Team Lead to Concierge Manager, Senior Manager, and Associate Director based on performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in luxury travel, premium concierge, or high-touch client service
- • Deep expertise with Sabre GDS — proficient in flight search, fare rules, and creative routing
- • Proven track record of meeting 95%+ SLA or quality standards
- • Leadership or mentoring experience — you’ve coached others, even informally
- • Excellent written communication — your quotes are clear, polished, and reflect luxury standards
- • Calm under pressure — you prioritize effectively when requests pile up
