📋 Description

• • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Ascertain, you will own the full lifecycle of customer deployments—from deeply understanding clinical and administrative workflows to building, shipping, and maintaining AI-powered integrations that automate burdensome administrative tasks in healthcare settings. Your work directly enables care teams to reclaim time, reduce burnout, and focus on patient care by connecting Ascertain’s AI agents to real-world systems like EHRs, payer portals, and document intake pipelines.
• • Day to day, you will embed with customer practices (remotely and on-site) to map end-to-end workflows such as prior authorization and referrals, then design and implement robust integrations using EHR APIs (Athena, eClinicalWorks, Epic), HL7/FHIR, EDI, and other healthcare systems. You’ll configure and extend Ascertain’s agent platform per customer needs—tuning prompts, tools, guardrails, and escalation paths—while debugging production issues across the full stack and serving as the technical translator between clinical staff and engineering teams.
