- • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Phonely Inc., you will be a critical technical bridge between the company’s voice AI platform and its customers, ensuring seamless integration and high-impact deployments that drive product adoption and customer success.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building API and webhook integrations, developing rapid proof-of-concepts to validate customer workflows, analyzing technical environments and requirements, iterating on solutions with customer feedback, monitoring system health, creating automated test suites, and collaborating with engineering and support teams to resolve issues and share insights.
- • You will work directly with Phonely’s engineering, product, and leadership teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where your contributions directly influence product direction and customer outcomes.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in voice AI, cloud systems, API integrations, and customer-facing technical problem-solving while gaining end-to-end ownership of complex deployments in a mission-driven startup.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of professional software development experience
- • Strong understanding of LLMs, APIs, and cloud technologies
- • Proven ability to understand and translate technical specifications into engineering plans
- • Experience with software architecture, security best practices, and system reliability
- • Excellent technical and communication skills, with a preference for prior customer-facing technical roles
