• • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Circle, you will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities into the core operations of a leading internet financial platform. This role is designed for a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in dynamic environments, acting as a crucial bridge between innovative AI strategies and tangible business outcomes.
• • You will collaborate directly with the Director of AI Strategy & Transformation, embedding yourself within various internal teams to meticulously identify operational bottlenecks and high-friction processes. Your primary objective will be to conceptualize and architect novel AI-powered systems that can fundamentally reshape how work is accomplished, driving significant improvements in efficiency, speed, and quality.
• • This is an experimental and action-oriented position, demanding a strong bias for action and the ability to rapidly transition from abstract ideas to functional prototypes. You will be instrumental in developing agentic systems that deliver measurable business impact, requiring a blend of technical prowess and astute judgment.
• • A key aspect of your role will involve building and nurturing trust with non-technical stakeholders. This will be achieved through clear, concise communication, compelling demonstrations of AI capabilities, and practical enablement sessions, ensuring widespread adoption and understanding of new AI-driven workflows.
• • You will be responsible for the rapid prototyping, deployment, and iterative refinement of agent workflows. The success of these workflows will be measured by their ability to drive tangible improvements in key business metrics, such as time-to-outcome, operational efficiency, and overall quality of output.
• • Designing and maintaining robust evaluation and feedback loops is critical. Utilizing tools and frameworks, such as those based on LangChain, you will rigorously assess the quality, reliability, and safety of the deployed AI systems, ensuring they meet high standards.
• • A significant part of your contribution will involve capturing best practices and successful patterns from your field work. This knowledge will be transformed into reusable assets, including playbooks, templates, and internal tooling, to accelerate the adoption and deployment of AI solutions across the organization.
• • You will play a vital role in surfacing insights derived from your hands-on experience. These insights will directly inform the broader AI strategy, influence product direction, and contribute to organizational design decisions, ensuring Circle remains at the cutting edge of financial technology.
• • Upholding strong engineering hygiene is paramount. This includes meticulous documentation, effective version control, proactive monitoring of systems, and a commitment to continuous iteration and improvement, ensuring the long-term viability and scalability of AI solutions.
• • Success in the first 6-12 months will be marked by the widespread adoption of agentic workflows by multiple teams, leading to a material reduction in time-to-outcome or operational burden. Furthermore, stakeholders should begin to fundamentally rethink their processes and organizational structures based on the transformative capabilities demonstrated by your work.
• • You will empower teams to safely iterate on agentic systems by providing them with comprehensive playbooks, intuitive tools, and expert guidance.
