📋 Description

• As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Workato, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI Agentic Solutions that exhibit autonomous, proactive, and adaptive behaviors, directly contributing to the company’s mission of unifying data, applications, processes, and AI into a single governed platform.
• Day to day, you will implement agent-based AI solutions using the Workato Agentic AI platform, build intelligent autonomous workflows with multi-agent collaboration, deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, develop advanced prompting and memory management techniques, troubleshoot AI-driven architectures, build scalable AI-powered IT workflows, monitor and improve system performance, collaborate with customers to deliver tailored solutions, integrate AI workflows into existing IT frameworks, contribute to internal knowledge sharing, participate in full product development cycles, assist product managers with technical specifications, and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

🎯 Requirements

• BTech/BE or higher technical education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and implementation, with at least 1 year of experience in Workato
• Proven experience in AI engineering with a focus on agent-based systems
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable AI-driven workflows that enhance IT operations
• Knowledge of integration projects with hands-on experience in APIs (RESTful, SOAP/XML), data structures (JSON), RDBMS/NoSQL, and middleware technologies
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Ruby
