Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end technical design, delivery, and ongoing support of Hiya’s partner integrations with telecommunications operators across Europe.
- • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Hiya’s telecom partners, guiding them through complex integration and operational challenges from discovery to production launch.
- • Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to define technical requirements, scope solutions, and align on delivery timelines.
- • Build trusted relationships with customer engineering and technical stakeholders, acting as a technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
- • Contribute directly to technical execution by writing code, making configuration changes, and developing automation or tooling to support customer implementations.
- • Query Hiya’s data mesh to validate integrations, troubleshoot issues, perform operational analysis, and respond to customer investigations.
- • Build custom dashboards, reports, or lightweight tooling to help partners monitor integration performance and understand system behavior.
- • Influence and evolve partner integration models, including those involving major vendors like Ericsson, to create scalable and repeatable technical approaches.
- • Investigate production issues, troubleshoot integration failures, and coordinate resolution efforts across customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- • Navigate and contribute to production codebases when necessary to resolve customer-facing technical problems or support implementation needs.
- • Communicate technical concepts, engineering tradeoffs, and integration requirements clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
- • Work in a hybrid model, splitting time between in-office collaboration in London and remote engagement with international telecom partners.
- • Leverage AI-assisted engineering workflows to improve productivity in software development, technical research, troubleshooting, and delivery.
- • Operate independently in ambiguous situations, identifying stakeholders, gathering information, and creating actionable plans when ownership or technical paths are unclear.
- • Balance customer-facing responsibilities with hands-on engineering work, ensuring technical credibility while maintaining strong relationship-building skills.
- • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering tasks and bridge gaps between business needs and technical execution.
- • Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies in integration processes and implementing improvements through automation or process refinement.
- • Maintain a pragmatic approach to tooling—knowing when to build, when to script, and when to solve problems manually to deliver results efficiently.
- • Support the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales technical discovery through post-launch production support and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Recent hands-on software engineering experience, including designing, building, supporting, or modifying production software systems
- • Good command of SQL and working with structured datasets
- • Experience working in customer-facing engineering roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Technical Account Engineer
- • Experience with APIs, integrations, distributed systems, or customer-facing software implementations
- • Ability to navigate and contribute to production codebases and troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple teams and vendors
- • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and workflows for software development, debugging, and technical research
