📋 Description

• Forward Deployed Engineers at Parafin are product-focused software engineers who operate at the intersection of partner delivery and core platform development, leading high-complexity, net-new integrations and partner-driven initiatives end-to-end to ensure small businesses gain access to essential financial tools through platforms they already use.
• Day to day, the person will own technical delivery for complex partner launches, act as the engineering lead across teams to scope and drive new work, ship and contribute code to the core product, design new integration patterns and systems, and partner closely with Sales, GTM, Product, and engineering teams to align on scope and reduce rework.
• Parafin is a tight-knit team of innovators from Stripe, Square, Plaid, Coinbase, Robinhood, CERN, and more, backed by prominent VCs including GIC, Notable Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Ribbit Capital, and Thrive Capital, with over $194M in equity and $340M in debt facilities raised, united by a mission to grow small businesses by simplifying access to financial tools.
• In this role, the person can learn to lead end-to-end partner integrations, shape scalable platform improvements, gain deep exposure to fintech and partner ecosystems, and drive product innovation that directly impacts small business growth and adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production-quality code
• Experience building end-to-end backend systems with flexibility to work across the stack
• Excellent communication skills to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability and desire to represent Parafin with external partners
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to execute and drive progress in ambiguous environments
