Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full technical lifecycle of enterprise customer deployments, from initial onboarding through to self-sufficient operation, ensuring Heidi’s AI Care Partner integrates seamlessly into live clinical environments.
- • Deploy and configure EMR integrations, SSO, SCIM provisioning, data pipelines, and security settings tailored to the specific requirements of healthcare systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
- • Work directly with clinical staff and IT teams to design, build, and implement custom clinical workflows using code — not just documentation — to align with real-world care delivery processes.
- • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex production issues, diagnosing problems across the stack, coordinating with internal Engineering teams, and closing loops with customers to ensure resolution.
- • Develop tooling, scripts, and automation to streamline deployment processes, reduce manual effort, and increase reliability and scalability across global customer environments.
- • Translate on-the-ground customer feedback and technical challenges into clear, actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams, directly influencing product roadmap priorities.
- • Build comprehensive documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge bases to empower customers to operate Heidi independently after deployment.
- • Act as a trusted technical partner to clinicians, hospital administrators, and IT departments, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and clinical needs with clarity and empathy.
- • Operate in high-stakes environments where system reliability directly impacts patient care, maintaining a strict focus on safety, accuracy, and trust in every interaction.
- • Collaborate closely with global teams across the US, UK, Canada, and Europe to support deployments in diverse healthcare systems and regulatory environments.
- • Travel to customer sites as needed to conduct on-site integrations, troubleshooting, and training sessions, ensuring alignment with local workflows and compliance standards.
- • Continuously refine deployment methodologies based on field experience, contributing to internal best practices and standardized procedures for future deployments.
- • Represent Heidi as a technical ambassador, earning the confidence of clinical and technical stakeholders through consistent communication, reliability, and problem-solving expertise.
- • Ensure every customer leaves with enhanced technical capacity, reducing dependency on Heidi’s team and enabling sustainable, long-term use of the platform.
- • Balance rapid iteration with unwavering commitment to safety and reliability, never compromising trust in service delivery even under tight timelines.
- • Work in a hybrid model with three days per week in the office, collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams to maintain alignment and drive shared outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years in a forward deployed, implementation engineering, or customer-facing technical role — ideally in SaaS, healthtech, or enterprise software
- • Proficiency in writing code — Python, JS, SQL, or equivalent — to build integrations and automate workflows
- • Strong working knowledge of integration protocols including REST APIs, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and ideally FHIR/HL7
- • Experience working embedded with enterprise customers or health systems
- • Ability to own ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems end-to-end without a predefined playbook
- • Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex technical issues to both CTOs and clinical staff
🏖️ Benefits
- • Equity from day one — share directly in Heidi’s success
- • £500 annual personal development budget
- • Dedicated wellness days and birthday off to recharge
- • Hybrid work model with 3 days per week in the office
- • Opportunity to shape the future of healthcare with global impact
- • Work alongside world-class engineers and clinicians in a diverse, mission-driven team
