- • As a Forward Deployed Senior Data Scientist, you will be the driving force behind bringing advanced AI solutions to life. Your primary responsibility will be to architect and build scalable AI solutions, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and ready for production deployment. - • This position offers a unique opportunity to own projects from their inception through to their successful deployment. You will foster close collaboration with our internal research, engineering, and product teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to delivering reliable, AI-driven capabilities that directly support critical defense operations. Your expertise will be vital in translating complex operational challenges into actionable AI/ML system designs.
- • Key responsibilities will include developing sophisticated AI/ML systems tailored to address the most complex operational challenges faced by our defense and national security clients. You will lead the end-to-end execution of AI projects, managing the entire lifecycle from initial concept and feasibility studies through to final deployment and post-deployment monitoring. A significant part of your role will involve designing scalable AI platforms and robust evaluation systems that ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the deployed solutions.
- • You will be adept at translating high-level, often abstract, requirements into detailed, actionable technical implementation plans. This requires a deep understanding of both the business needs and the technical possibilities of AI/ML. Furthermore, you will be responsible for seamlessly integrating these advanced AI capabilities into existing customer workflows and critical infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum impact.
- • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with our AI research scientists to incorporate the latest advancements, with data engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility, and with software engineers to ensure seamless integration and maintainability of the deployed systems. 🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading the design, development, and deployment of AI or Data Science projects in production environments.
- • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning principles, including deep learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or agentic systems.
- • Demonstrated ability to deploy scalable AI solutions that are robust, efficient, and maintainable.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
