• **Lead the Strategic Vision for Data Science at Search Atlas:** As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making at Search Atlas. You will be responsible for developing and meticulously managing a comprehensive strategic roadmap for all data science studies and initiatives across the company. This involves identifying key business challenges and opportunities where data science can deliver significant impact, prioritizing projects based on potential ROI and strategic alignment, and ensuring that the data team's efforts are consistently focused on achieving overarching business goals. • **Drive Team Excellence and Project Execution:** This role extends beyond individual contribution; you will be a leader and mentor. You will manage multiple data science resources, fostering a highly organized and efficient team environment. Your leadership will ensure that the team consistently meets execution deadlines, maintains high-quality standards, and collaborates effectively. You will oversee the entire team's priorities, ensuring operational excellence and accountability across all data-related projects. • **Oversee End-to-End Data Science Project Lifecycle:** You will take ownership of data science projects from inception to completion. This encompasses the entire lifecycle: defining project scope, gathering and meticulously cleaning raw data, performing exploratory data analysis, developing and validating advanced predictive models, and ultimately, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights. Your ability to manage each stage of this process ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with maximum impact.
• **Champion AI-Driven Efficiency and Innovation:** Search Atlas is committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology. You will be expected to actively utilize and promote the use of AI coding tools, such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development cycles, enhance data analysis, and streamline the creation of insightful visualizations. • **Serve as the Primary Liaison for Leadership Communication:** A critical aspect of this role is acting as the primary bridge between the data science team and senior leadership. 🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of applied Data Science experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex data projects and mentoring other team members.
• Exceptional proficiency in Python, including core data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, alongside strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and efficiency in data analysis, model development, and coding workflows.
• Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering) or equivalent high-level research experience demonstrated through a robust portfolio.
• Must be based in EST or CST time zones (North America or LATAM) or demonstrate 100% availability during these core working hours to facilitate seamless collaboration.
• Tip-top English communication skills are mandatory, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and their business impact clearly and persuasively to executive leadership.
