- • Serve as the primary technical expert embedded with enterprise customers to design and build custom, high-impact solutions on and integrated with the Neara platform.
- • Develop custom features using the Neara SDK and platform APIs, writing code in TypeScript/JavaScript and the platform’s declarative scripting language to automate project changes, integrate real-time third-party data, and manipulate electricity network models.
- • Create tailored visualizations, calculations, and advanced data analysis tools to enhance customer workflows and decision-making capabilities.
- • Build and deploy custom user interface elements that simplify and automate complex, multi-step user processes within the Neara platform.
- • Design and implement robust integrations between the Neara platform and external enterprise systems using RESTful APIs following the OpenAPI Specification.
- • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, translating complex business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
- • Lead hands-on training sessions and workshops for customer engineers and stakeholders on the Neara SDK, APIs, and best practices for custom solution development.
- • Ensure customer solutions are maintainable and scalable by empowering clients to evolve the tools you build independently.
- • Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to identify emerging customer needs and translate them into strategic opportunities for platform expansion and account growth.
- • Configure reporting systems and manage data integration workflows to align the Neara platform precisely with each customer’s technical environment and strategic priorities.
- • Work directly with utility asset owners and engineering teams across the U.S. to deliver solutions that optimize infrastructure investments and improve grid resilience against extreme weather events.
- • Apply advanced machine learning and physics-enabled digital twin technology to simulate stress scenarios on electricity grids at a network-wide scale.
- • Drive customer success by ensuring technical solutions deliver measurable business value and directly support critical infrastructure resilience goals.
- • Contribute real-world enterprise feedback directly into the product roadmap to shape the future evolution of the Neara platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience as a Software Engineer or Forward-Deployed Engineer building and delivering custom technical solutions at the enterprise level
- • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and Python
- • Proven ability to rapidly understand and utilize proprietary SDKs and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI Specification) to build integrated solutions
- • Experience working directly with customers in a consulting or technical advisory capacity
- • Skilled in data analysis, integration, and building tailored tools such as data pipelines or automation scripts
- • Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executive stakeholders
