- • Deploy, configure, and manage specialized security tooling across customer environments in domains including Cloud (Wiz, SCCE, Defender for Cloud), AI Security (WitnessAI, ModelArmor, Purview), Network (ExtraHop, CEP), Endpoint (ENT.AI, Defender for Endpoint, Thinkst Canary), and Identity (Defender for Identity).
- • Maintain ongoing health of deployed security tooling by remediating misconfigurations, detecting configuration drift, and continuously optimizing performance across assigned domains.
- • Deliver technical advisory services including tabletop exercises, security maturity assessments, and compliance readiness support for frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and CMMC.
- • Develop and present customer-specific security roadmaps and posture improvement recommendations tailored to their environment, risk profile, and business objectives.
- • Enable customers through hands-on training on deployed security tools and best practices for securing their cloud, AI, network, endpoint, and identity infrastructure.
- • Collaborate with the Rapid Deployment team to onboard log sources and integrate tools into the SIEM ecosystem for unified visibility and response.
- • Document all configurations, advisory outputs, customer environment details, and remediation actions with precision and clarity for internal and client use.
- • Escalate complex technical or advisory challenges to Security Solution Architects or the Manager when resolution requires higher-level expertise or cross-team coordination.
- • Operate as both a technical practitioner and trusted security advisor, balancing hands-on tool management with strategic customer guidance.
- • Work directly with enterprise customers to enhance their cybersecurity posture through proactive detection, rapid response, and continuous protection using AI-native MDR solutions.
- • Contribute to building and scaling TENEX’s Forward Deployed Engineering organization as an early employee in a high-growth startup environment.
- • Engage in a culture that prioritizes in-person collaboration and community, as outlined in TENEX’s culture deck, with a focus on teamwork and shared mission.
- • Stay current with evolving threats and technologies in AI-driven cybersecurity, automation, and enterprise security operations to ensure delivery of cutting-edge solutions.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to refine tooling, improve deployment processes, and elevate customer outcomes across the MDR platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in information security engineering or a related technical field
- • Hands-on experience deploying and managing security tools in one or more domains: cloud, AI, network, endpoint, or identity security
- • Experience delivering technical advisory services, security assessments, or consulting engagements
- • Familiarity with compliance frameworks including SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and CMMC
- • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and how it applies to relevant security domains
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
