- • As a Founder Associate Intern at Clera, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a fast-growing AI-powered talent platform that connects top-tier candidates with elite startups, directly contributing to the company’s mission of transforming the $600B global headhunting industry by making recruiting talent-first and outcome-driven.
- • You will work intensively in a hacker-house environment in San Francisco, living and collaborating closely with the founding team to drive real impact, own end-to-end workflows, and help shape the future of talent acquisition in one of the most competitive markets in the world.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing and optimizing the candidate journey from initial outreach to placement, ensuring exceptional experiences for hundreds of high-potential applicants approaching Clera daily through personalized communication, coaching, and process refinement.
- • You will partner closely with founders and the core team to identify bottlenecks in the talent funnel, design and test improvements to matching algorithms or outreach sequences, and leverage data to increase conversion rates and candidate satisfaction.
- • You will support business development efforts by researching target companies, preparing tailored pitches, and helping maintain relationships with partner startups like Mintlify, Luminai, and Windsurf to ensure a steady flow of high-quality job opportunities.
- • You will contribute to internal operations and culture by participating in team rituals, sharing insights from candidate interactions, and helping maintain the high-energy, high-trust environment that defines the hacker-house lifestyle.
- • You will gain hands-on experience in building a startup from the ground up, learning directly from experienced founders who have raised $3M in pre-seed funding from top US investors and unicorn-backed entrepreneurs.
- • You will develop rare, high-impact skills in talent strategy, growth hacking, customer success, and operational execution — all while working in a zero-commute, high-feedback-loop setting that accelerates learning and personal growth.

🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program, with strong academic performance and a demonstrated bias for action.

- • High tolerance for ambiguity and thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments — comfortable taking initiative without waiting for direction.
- • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple candidate pipelines and workflows simultaneously.
