- • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Founding Account Executive (AI Cloud) to join our dynamic team in Europe. This is a critical, full-cycle sales role for an individual who excels at owning deals from inception to close, cultivating strong relationships with technical buyers, and thriving in the fast-paced, early-stage environment of an AI startup. As a Founding AE, you will be instrumental in shaping our commercial strategy and building a repeatable go-to-market engine.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to carry and close a pipeline of deals across enterprise, scale-up, and high-growth startup accounts. This involves managing the entire sales process: initiating contact, conducting thorough discovery, delivering compelling product demonstrations, crafting persuasive proposals, navigating complex negotiations, and ultimately securing the signed contract. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their journey with Featherless AI is seamless.
- • You will build and nurture executive-level relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, ML leads, and infrastructure decision-makers. Understanding their technical challenges and business objectives will be paramount to tailoring our solutions effectively. This requires a deep engagement with developers, ML engineers, and CTOs, demonstrating a strong grasp of their technical landscape and the value Featherless AI brings.
- • Collaboration will be key. You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to develop and refine pricing strategies, structure innovative deal frameworks, and create effective expansion playbooks. Furthermore, you will partner with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Developer Relations (DevRel) teams to generate qualified pipeline and leverage ecosystem-driven sourcing strategies. Maintaining meticulous CRM hygiene in HubSpot is essential for accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves representing Featherless AI at industry events, conferences, and meetups. This is an opportunity to generate leads, advance existing opportunities, and build brand awareness within the AI and cloud infrastructure communities. You will be a key ambassador for our company, articulating our vision and value proposition to a diverse audience.
- • Core responsibilities extend to running full-cycle sales processes across mid-market and enterprise segments, leading high-quality discovery calls, and delivering technical demonstrations precisely tailored to each buyer's specific technology stack and use case. You will be adept at developing custom proposals and business cases that clearly articulate how Featherless AI's capabilities address critical model inference needs.
- • Negotiating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals will be a regular part of your role. You will also be responsible for expanding revenue within existing accounts by identifying and capitalizing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities. To enhance efficiency and personalization, you will extensively utilize AI tools to automate research, outreach, and workflow processes.
- • You will contribute to the feedback loop between the field and our Product and DevRel teams, providing valuable insights that inform product development and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor BDRs, helping to define and establish best practices for pipeline generation and qualification.
