- • Own end-to-end sales cycles for enterprise, scale-up, and high-growth startup accounts in AI cloud infrastructure, from first contact through contract signing
- • Conduct discovery and technical demo calls tailored to buyers’ stacks and use cases, engaging directly with developers, ML engineers, and CTOs
- • Build and maintain executive relationships with technical decision-makers to drive trust, adoption, and long-term account expansion
- • Develop custom proposals and business cases that align Featherless’s open-model inference platform with clients’ model deployment, efficiency, and scalability needs
- • Negotiate and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a fast-moving AI infrastructure market
- • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth
- • Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to shape pricing strategies, deal structures, and expansion playbooks for the GTM motion
- • Partner with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Developer Relations (DevRel) teams to generate and advance pipeline through ecosystem-driven sourcing
- • Represent Featherless AI at industry events and conferences to generate new leads and accelerate deal progression
- • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in HubSpot, ensuring accurate logging of all activities and precise pipeline forecasting
- • Use AI tools extensively to automate research, personalize outreach, and optimize sales workflows
- • Collaborate with Product and DevRel teams to translate customer feedback into product insights and feature priorities
- • Mentor junior BDRs and help define what constitutes high-quality pipeline and effective sales motion in the AI cloud space
- • Drive quota attainment through disciplined pipeline management, consistent outreach, and strategic account prioritization
- • Operate with high autonomy in a pre-Series A startup environment, building processes where none exist and adapting quickly to market feedback
- • Maintain technical literacy to speak credibly with engineering teams about open-source AI models, inference performance, and infrastructure overhead
- • Deliver accurate and timely pipeline reporting to leadership with data-driven insights on conversion rates, deal velocity, and forecast reliability
- • Stay current on developments in open-model AI, serverless inference, and MLOps infrastructure to position Featherless as a thought leader in sales conversations
- • Balance entrepreneurial initiative with structured execution, creating repeatable patterns while remaining agile in an evolving market
- • Operate remotely across US and Canada with full ownership of territory and account portfolio
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–6 years in a closing role in Cloud Infrastructure, MLOps, or AI/developer tooling
- • Proven track record closing deals with technical buyers (developers, ML engineers, CTOs)
- • Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- • Strong written and verbal communication — concise, credible, technically literate
- • Entrepreneurial and self-driven — you build your own process and don't wait for a playbook
- • Disciplined forecaster with clean CRM habits and a data-driven approach to pipeline management
