- • You will be Sphere’s first Account Executive in Europe, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the Founder who has personally closed every deal to date. Your mission is to turn founder-led momentum into a repeatable, scalable revenue engine that conquers the European market.
- • Own the entire sales cycle—from cold outbound to signed contract to expansion revenue. You will source and close both high-velocity SMB deals (2- to 4-week cycles) and complex mid-market engagements (multi-stakeholder, 3- to 6-month cycles) across the UK, DACH, Nordics and beyond.
- • Build and iterate European GTM playbooks, battle-cards, objection-handling sheets, ROI calculators and rev-ops tooling that the next ten AEs will inherit. You are not just selling; you are architecting the future sales motion.
- • Run personalised outbound at scale: craft sequences that speak to CFO pain around cross-border VAT/GST exposure, run discovery that quantifies compliance risk, and deliver demos that make AI-native automation feel inevitable.
- • Become the voice of the European customer inside the company. Feed real-time insights on regulatory nuance, pricing sensitivity and competitive threats directly into product, engineering and marketing sprints.
- • Collaborate with the Founder to design and implement a land-and-expand strategy. Your first closed-won is only the beginning—80 % of ARR should come from multi-year upsells and usage-based expansion.
- • Experiment with verticalised messaging for SaaS, e-commerce and marketplaces; test regional pricing; and pilot channel partnerships with leading European accounting firms and VC portfolio programmes.
- • Travel as needed—whether that is a two-day blitz in Berlin or a CFO roundtable in Stockholm—to turn digital relationships into handshake deals.
- • Help hire, onboard and coach the next wave of EMEA Account Executives. Within 12 months you should be managing a pod and carrying both a personal quota and a team number.
- • Live and breathe Sphere’s cultural values: ship fast (if it can be done today, do it today), hunt with grit (effort > pedigree), and default to action (no waiting for permission).
- • Report directly to the Founder with uncapped upside: every process you build, every logo you close and every expansion dollar you generate will compound into the foundation of a billion-dollar compliance platform.
