  • • Your role as an IT Specialist will be multifaceted, requiring you to be adaptable and proactive. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a wide range of IT support requests, addressing issues both remotely and in person. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity problems. A significant part of your responsibility will involve the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of essential business systems such as Point of Sale (POS) systems, printers, desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices. You will also be instrumental in assisting users with our core platforms, including Google Workspace, ensuring seamless daily operations.
  • • We operate in both Windows and Mac environments, so a foundational understanding of both operating systems is key. You will diligently use and update our IT ticketing system to meticulously track all incoming issues, resolutions, and ongoing support tasks, ensuring accountability and efficient workflow management. Clear and effective communication is paramount; you will interact with all levels of the organization, from our dedicated store teams to executive leadership, providing timely updates and solutions.
  • • Beyond direct user support, you will contribute to maintaining our IT infrastructure by tracking IT assets and supporting basic inventory processes. This role also requires a degree of mobility, as you will travel to our local retail sites using a company vehicle to provide on-site support, troubleshooting, and setup assistance. Flexibility is also a must, as occasional off-hours support requests may arise to address critical issues and minimize operational downtime.

  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Serve as the initial point of contact for all incoming IT support requests, providing timely and effective assistance via remote tools and in-person interactions.
  • • Diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues, including hardware malfunctions, software errors, and network connectivity problems across diverse devices.
  • • Install, configure, and maintain essential hardware, including POS systems, printers, desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring they are operational and secure.
  • • Provide user support for core business applications and platforms, with a strong emphasis on Google Workspace, troubleshooting and guiding users through common challenges.
  • • Support and manage both Windows and macOS environments, ensuring compatibility and efficient performance.
  • • Utilize and maintain an IT ticketing system to log, track, and manage all support requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to end-users and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • • Assist with IT asset management, including tracking inventory and ensuring proper documentation of all IT equipment.
  • • Travel to local retail dispensaries in a company vehicle to provide on-site technical support, installations, and troubleshooting.
  • • Maintain flexibility to respond to occasional urgent IT needs outside of standard business hours.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support, IT helpdesk, or similar role.
  • • Foundational knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, and experience with Google Workspace.
  • • Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
