- • Partner with Vantage’s most strategic customers to ensure successful adoption and long-term value through hands-on technical implementation and architecture guidance
- • Embed directly with customer engineering, FinOps, and finance teams during onboarding and expansion phases to design scalable cloud cost allocation and tagging strategies across multi-cloud and Kubernetes environments
- • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, translating their infrastructure and cost-management goals into actionable Vantage configurations and workflows
- • Support technical onboarding for complex accounts by resolving data ingestion, tagging, and reporting issues in close collaboration with Support and Engineering teams
- • Build custom solutions, queries, and automation workflows using Vantage’s APIs, data exports, and third-party integrations to unblock customer-specific technical challenges
- • Debug and resolve issues related to cloud billing exports, usage metrics, and cost attribution across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments
- • Surface recurring customer pain points, edge cases, and feature requests directly to Product and Engineering teams to influence product roadmap and internal tooling improvements
- • Develop and document repeatable implementation patterns, best practices, and customer success playbooks to scale adoption across the customer base
- • Collaborate with Customer Success to address advanced use cases that require deep technical expertise beyond standard support channels
- • Translate complex cloud infrastructure concepts into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials based on real-world customer interactions and technical challenges
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Vantage’s platform capabilities, integrations, and data models to provide accurate, timely, and proactive technical guidance
- • Serve as a bridge between customer needs and product development, ensuring customer feedback directly informs product enhancements and feature prioritization
- • Work remotely as part of a distributed team of ~55 employees with a strong remote-friendly culture, while maintaining high responsiveness and ownership over customer outcomes
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Consultant, Sales Engineer, or similar)
- • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data stacks
- • Experience working with cost data, billing exports, usage metrics, or large datasets
- • Comfortable writing SQL and/or Python for analysis, troubleshooting, or automation
- • Excellent communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
