📋 Description

• As a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer for the France team at HappyRobot AI Inc., you will be a pivotal early member helping to establish and grow our presence in French-speaking markets, directly impacting how enterprises adopt and scale AI workforces.
• You will work closely with customers from onboarding through ongoing usage, integrating and optimizing HappyRobot’s AI platform while simultaneously building new features, MVPs, and scalable solutions using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, including AI/ML applications like LLM prompting and voice tuning.
• HappyRobot is a Y Combinator-backed (S23) AI infrastructure startup with over $60M in funding from a16z and Base10, powering autonomous AI workers for global enterprises in voice, email, and enterprise systems, with a culture rooted in extreme ownership, craftsmanship, and meritocracy.
• In this role, you will gain end-to-end ownership of customer-facing technical projects, deepen your expertise in full-stack development and applied AI/ML, and grow alongside a high-talent team where your contributions directly shape product direction and customer success.

🎯 Requirements

• Native or fluent French speaker (C1/C2 level)
• Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Hands-on proficiency in Python
• Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning
• Ability to manage APIs and integrate with third-party systems
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Founder mindset: highly independent, takes ownership, thrives in fast-paced environments
