📋 Description

• This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to join a well-funded, early-stage AI SaaS company in the home services vertical as their first dedicated recruiter.
• You'll work directly with the founding team, own critical searches end-to-end, and help build one of the most talent-dense teams in New York City.
• Every hire you make will shape the company's DNA and culture.
• The right person is genuinely passionate about recruiting as a craft — eager to master sourcing, candidate experience, and closing, while learning how recruiting intersects with strategy, operations, and company building at the earliest stage.
• Partner closely with founders and leadership to identify and prioritize hiring needs across engineering, product, and design.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of engineers, product managers, and designers sourced from top startups and technology companies.
• Drive creative sourcing strategies — from targeted outbound research to leveraging professional networks, events, and communities.
• Develop a deep understanding of candidate motivations and startup dynamics to attract and close the right people.
• Provide a high-touch, personalized candidate experience from the very first outreach through offer close.
• Help design and build the recruiting function and processes from the ground up.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of recruiting or sourcing experience with a proven track record at startups or early-stage companies.
• Prior agency recruiting experience or in-house sourcing/recruiting at a startup.
• Experience sourcing for technical roles (engineers, PMs) and design roles at high-growth companies.
