• As a Founding Product Manager, you will be instrumental in owning and scaling Ascertain’s provider, payer, and vendor integrations. This pivotal role operates at the dynamic intersection of complex healthcare workflows and cutting-edge AI automation, directly enabling rapid customer delivery and product expansion. You will be one of the earliest product managers, contributing significantly to establishing best product practices across the organization and playing a key role in the growth and development of the product organization. This is a deeply customer-embedded position, requiring you to actively shadow customers, meticulously define automation requirements, and ensure that the engineering team builds solutions that deliver tangible, measurable Return on Investment (ROI). Your insights will directly shape the future of healthcare administration.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the strategic development and execution of Ascertain’s vision for AI-driven and AI-managed integrations. This involves conducting thorough up-front discovery through immersive workflow shadowing, in-depth research, and comprehensive competitive analysis, presenting your findings to the team with unwavering conviction and analytical rigor. A critical aspect of your role will be to strategically prioritize integrations with partners and vendors that offer the greatest leverage for our team as we scale our operations and expand into new, diverse use cases. You will collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to meticulously define acceptance criteria, establish robust testing protocols, and ensure the delivery of exceptionally high-quality product integrations that meet and exceed customer expectations. Furthermore, you will diligently track usage patterns, monitor key performance metrics, and gather invaluable customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and refinement of our product's quality and effectiveness.
• You will be a central figure in translating intricate healthcare processes into clear, structured product specifications that guide the engineering team. This requires a deep understanding of both the technical intricacies of integrations and the nuanced operational realities of healthcare providers. Your ability to bridge these two worlds will be crucial for developing solutions that are both technically sound and operationally impactful. You will also be responsible for fostering strong cross-functional relationships, working hand-in-hand with engineering to ensure seamless product development and with go-to-market teams to ensure successful customer adoption and value realization. This collaborative approach is essential for driving product success from conception through to market deployment and ongoing optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS (previous product-focused engineering experience qualifies).
• Direct experience building customer-informed products, including workflow shadowing.
• Strong background in technical products with API and integration requirements (comfortable with curl, Postman, etc.).
• Ability to translate complex processes into structured product specifications.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and go-to-market teams.
