  • • Own the end-to-end recruitment funnel for all open roles at Viktor, from sourcing and screening to scheduling interviews and driving candidates to offer, covering GTM, Ops, and Product positions.
  • • Serve as the sole owner of all agency relationships: establish one unified intake process, eliminate duplicate candidates, retain high-performing agencies, and terminate underperforming ones.
  • • Build and refine the recruitment system including sourcing channels, Ashby pipeline hygiene, structured scorecards, and candidate communications that feel personal and human—no templated or AI-generated spam.
  • • Instrument and track key recruitment metrics: conversion rates by stage, time-to-offer, and points of candidate drop-off to optimize funnel efficiency.
  • • Leverage AI tools to automate sourcing, drafting outreach, and operational tasks, enabling you to operate with the output of a team of five while maintaining high-touch candidate experiences.
  • • Maintain and elevate Viktor’s hiring bar: refuse to lower standards even as headcount doubles from 25 to 50–70 in six months; measure success by quality of hire, not volume.
  • • Conduct technical first-round interviews using a standardized rubric, focusing on signal detection and routing candidates appropriately for deeper evaluation by hiring managers.
  • • Ensure every candidate, whether hired or not, has a best-in-class experience—clear communication, timely feedback, and respectful treatment throughout the process.
  • • Adapt playbooks for vastly different roles: sourcing a UGC video editor requires a completely different approach than closing an agent engineer, and you must manage both simultaneously.
  • • Report data-driven insights on recruitment performance to founders and hiring managers, using real numbers to guide decisions and resource allocation.
  • • Build the recruiting function from scratch as Viktor’s first dedicated recruiter, establishing systems, tools, and processes that scale with the company’s growth.
  • • Collaborate directly with founders and hiring managers who are deeply invested in hiring quality, ensuring alignment without bureaucratic overhead.
  • • Ship your first recruitment initiatives within your first week, including refining intake, cleaning up duplicate candidates, and launching improved candidate communications.
  • • Operate in a high-trust, low-process environment where decisions are made by owners, not committees, and where iteration and results drive progress over meetings.
  • • Continuously improve candidate experience and hiring efficiency as Viktor scales, laying the foundation for a future recruiting team.

  • • Owned end-to-end recruitment for in-house roles and closed candidates who had competing offers
  • • Hired across both technical (engineers, product) and non-technical (GTM, creative, ops) roles with deep understanding of each talent pool
  • • Comfortable conducting structured technical first-round interviews using rubrics and routing signals to hiring managers
  • • AI-native: actively use LLMs and automation agents for sourcing, drafting, and operational tasks as core to daily work
  • • Write outreach that feels human, personalized, and compelling—no AI-generated slop or template spam
  • • Proven ability to maintain or raise hiring standards under pressure, prioritizing quality over speed
