- • As a Founding Software Engineer at Weekday 1, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core product and technical foundation of an innovative AI-driven platform, directly impacting how users interact with intelligent systems from day one.
- • You will be instrumental in building scalable, reliable, and customer-centric solutions that bridge cutting-edge AI capabilities with real-world user needs, ensuring the product evolves with both technical excellence and market relevance.
- • Develop and deploy essential product features across the full technology stack, including Python, TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven architectures, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
- • Manage the entire product lifecycle by engaging directly with customers to understand their pain points, define technical solutions, iterate based on feedback, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- • Make strategic decisions about when to build a minimum viable product (MVP) for rapid validation versus investing in robust, scalable foundations for long-term sustainability.
- • Elevate engineering quality by championing best practices in automated testing, comprehensive documentation, system reliability, and security hardening across all layers of the application.
- • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, design, and customer success teams, to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and prioritize work effectively.
- • Contribute to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement by mentoring peers, refining processes, and advocating for technical excellence in every sprint.

🎯 Requirements
- • Solid software engineering skills with proven ability to design, troubleshoot, and deliver dependable, production-grade systems.
- • Hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript, or demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire proficiency in either language.
- • Background in building AI products end-to-end, whether through startup work, side projects, or large-scale implementations.
- • Versatility across frontend, backend, and infrastructure development, enabling full-stack contributions.
- • Proven initiative, evidenced by independently launched projects, open-source contributions, or self-driven learning.
- • Customer-focused mindset with ability to empathize with users and translate needs into technical solutions.
