- • Build and evolve a B2B SaaS integrations platform focused on agentic workflows, including mapping, testing, retries, queues, and observability layers.
- • Work across the full technology stack: frontend (TypeScript, React), backend (Node.js), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and LLM-driven agent-based systems.
- • Own end-to-end development of features from initial specifications through implementation to measurable customer impact.
- • Shape the engineering culture, technical architecture, and product direction as a founding team member in a seed-stage startup.
- • Design and implement scalable distributed systems with reliable retry mechanisms, message queuing, and distributed tracing for high-availability integrations.
- • Develop and maintain data storage solutions using PostgreSQL for critical integration metadata and operational logs.
- • Integrate and extend workflows powered by large language models (LLMs) to automate decision-making in supply chain data exchanges.
- • Collaborate closely with early product and business stakeholders to define roadmap priorities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- • Establish monitoring and observability practices to ensure system reliability, performance, and rapid incident response.
- • Contribute to infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and cloud cost optimization on AWS.
- • Participate in hiring and onboarding decisions to build a high-performing engineering team from the ground up.
- • Directly influence company culture, code standards, and technical debt management practices as one of the first engineers.
- • Translate complex enterprise integration requirements (e.g., EDI, ERP, WMS, TMS) into robust, maintainable software components.
- • Iterate rapidly on feedback from early adopters to refine product-market fit and user experience across the integrations platform.
- • Maintain a strong focus on system reliability, security, and scalability while operating in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced startup environments.
- • Demonstrated experience building products 0→1, either at an early-stage startup or through serious side projects.
- • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend, and Node.js for backend.
- • Experience integrating or building workflows around large language models (LLMs) and agent-based platforms.
- • Hands-on experience with AWS for cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL for data storage.
- • Experience owning end-to-end feature development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- • Familiarity with observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and reliable retry/queuing patterns in distributed systems.
- • Strong computer science fundamentals.
