📋 Description

• As a Founding Software Engineer - Agentic AI at Glacis AI Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation of a high-growth startup revolutionizing global supply chains through AI agents that think, plan, and act. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive outsized impact from day one, working alongside seasoned entrepreneurs, Y Combinator alumni, and ex-Googlers to automate complex logistics workflows for industry leaders like Tesla and Coca-Cola.
• You will take ownership of end-to-end technical strategy, architecting and delivering scalable full-stack solutions that integrate AI-driven automation with enterprise systems such as ERP and TMS platforms. Your work will directly influence how global enterprises manage supply chain operations, enabling seamless process integration and significant efficiency gains.
• Day to day, you will lead engineering initiatives by making critical technical decisions on system architecture and development priorities, ensuring alignment with both product vision and customer needs. You will design and implement robust frontend and backend features using modern technologies, with a focus on Python/Django, JavaScript frameworks, and PostgreSQL, while integrating AI capabilities into production systems.
• You will collaborate closely with enterprise customers to gather requirements, tailor solutions to their operational challenges, and oversee smooth deployment and adoption, acting as a technical liaison between engineering and client success teams.
• You will contribute strategically to the company’s long-term technology roadmap, evaluating and recommending tools, platforms, and architectural patterns that support scalability, reliability, and innovation in AI agent orchestration and workflow automation.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with preference for full-stack development and startup environment exposure
• Strong technical proficiency in Python/Django, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar), and PostgreSQL for building scalable web applications
• Proven ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments with an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating ownership, initiative, and comfort with rapid iteration
• Experience or strong interest in AI integration, system automation, or workflow orchestration (e.g., Temporal, AWS Step Functions, or similar technologies)
• Excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach, with willingness to engage directly with enterprise clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Fluency in English and ability to collaborate effectively across international time zones with global stakeholders
