• • As a Full Stack Engineer on our team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and scaling the critical systems that underpin Perplexity's financial operations. You will work with a modern tech stack including Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, vLLM, and AWS, contributing to a robust and efficient technological ecosystem.
• • The Finance Engineering team at Perplexity is responsible for the end-to-end technology stack that manages our financial health. This includes sophisticated systems for revenue recognition, automated billing processes, comprehensive financial reporting, essential compliance frameworks, and insightful business intelligence platforms. We operate at the crucial intersection of engineering excellence and financial precision, building systems that are not only robust and auditable but also capable of handling complex subscription models, enterprise contracts, dynamic usage-based billing, and global payment processing.
• • Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and ongoing maintenance. You will be tasked with building and scaling financial systems and infrastructure, encompassing revenue recognition, billing automation, invoicing, and payment processing. This involves creating elegant solutions that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all financial transactions.
