Run discovery workshops to uncover pain points around tool sprawl, slow ingestion, and unreliable reverse-ETL, then architect tailored demos that prove Matia can cut onboarding time by 70 % and reduce infra spend by 30 %.
• • Design and deliver high-impact proof-of-concepts that move prospects to “yes” in days, not weeks. Spin up sandbox environments, model customer schemas, and build live pipelines that showcase our unified ingestion, observability, and catalog features. Create reusable POC kits—Terraform scripts, dbt packages, SQL snippets—that the broader GTM team can leverage to accelerate future cycles.
• • Become the customer’s trusted technical advisor during onboarding. Jump on Slack, Zoom, or on-site to unblock data connections, tune warehouse performance, and set up alerting so teams see value within the first 14 days. Build run-books and Loom videos that scale your knowledge across the customer base.
• • Craft compelling technical content that fuels pipeline. Partner with Marketing to publish solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and benchmark reports that position Matia as the thought leader in modern DataOps. Speak at meetups, podcasts, and webinars to share real-world stories from Ramp, Drata, and Lemonade.
• • Influence the product roadmap by funneling field insights back to Engineering. Distill recurring feature requests into crisp PRDs, prioritize bugs that block deals, and beta-test new connectors before they hit GA. Your voice will directly shape what we ship next quarter.
• • Collaborate with Account Executives on deal strategy: map stakeholders, quantify ROI, and build mutual close plans that compress enterprise sales cycles. Use Salesforce and Gong to track technical objections, win rates, and time-to-value metrics that refine our sales playbook.
• • Leverage AI to supercharge your own productivity. Automate demo data generation with GPT-driven scripts, spin up personalized slide decks in minutes, and deploy chatbots that answer common security questionnaires overnight. Share these hacks in internal enablement sessions so the entire team levels up.
• • Champion a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration. Run A/B tests on demo storylines, iterate on pricing calculators, and pilot new packaging models with early design partners. Your curiosity will keep Matia ahead of the market as the DataOps category evolves.
• • Mentor future hires as the Solutions Engineering team scales from one to many. Document tribal knowledge, create onboarding checklists, and host weekly demo jams so new SEs ramp in half the time. Your leadership will define how technical selling is done at Matia for years to come.
