  • • The Solutions Engineering team at Rox is not a peripheral support function; it is a core, product-shaping, and deal-defining engine. This team operates at the critical intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering, tasked with translating Rox's advanced technical capabilities into undeniable, quantifiable customer value. You will be a foundational member of our East Coast SE team, working alongside a newly appointed Solutions Engineering leader. You will collaborate with three existing in-seat SEs in San Francisco while playing a pivotal role in establishing and scaling the Solutions Engineering function in New York. The methodologies you help define – from our demo strategies and technical scoping processes to integration approaches and overall sales execution – will serve as the blueprint for the entire company's technical sales motion.
  • • This is a founding-level Solutions Engineer position, ideal for an individual who possesses a potent blend of technical acumen, a deep-seated customer obsession, and strong opinions on how exceptional sales engineering should operate. Your day-to-day will involve deep immersion in active customer engagements. This includes conducting thorough technical discovery sessions, architecting bespoke integrations, and delivering compelling demonstrations that vividly illustrate how Rox seamlessly integrates into a customer's existing data infrastructure and GTM environment. However, your impact extends far beyond mere execution. You will proactively identify inefficiencies and pain points within the sales process and implement solutions – refining demo flows, sharpening technical narratives, and elevating the standard for all future Solutions Engineers.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of Rox's technical sales strategy and execution. Your responsibilities will encompass becoming a product expert rapidly, gaining a profound understanding of Rox's architecture, its diverse use cases, and the intricate workflows of our customers. You will forge strong partnerships with the Sales team to execute high-impact technical demonstrations and provide comprehensive support throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and articulating integration strategies across a spectrum of technologies, including data warehouses, CRMs, AI agents, and other modern GTM tools. Leading technical discovery conversations will be key, focusing on uncovering genuine customer challenges rather than just stated requirements. You will act as a crucial conduit, translating invaluable customer feedback into clear, actionable insights for our Product and Engineering teams, thereby directly influencing product development. A significant part of your role will involve enhancing Rox's sales effectiveness by refining demo narratives, strengthening our technical positioning, and contributing to sales enablement materials. As the team expands across the East Coast, you will also play a vital role in onboarding and training new Solutions Engineers, sharing your expertise and best practices.
  • • Success in this role will be measured by your ability to quickly grasp the Rox platform and articulate its value proposition with confidence within your first few days. Within weeks, you will be confidently leading live demos and making active contributions to deals in the sales pipeline. Within months, you will be demonstrably raising the bar for the entire team by improving our sales motion, mentoring new SEs, and actively shaping the operational framework of Solutions Engineering at Rox.
