- • Own the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts with high-impact financial commentary that identifies key trends, variances, and core business drivers for executive leadership.
- • Lead advanced Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analysis across weekly, monthly, and quarterly workstreams, translating financial data into clear narratives that highlight risks and performance drivers.
- • Act as the primary operational bridge between FP&A and Financial Reporting & Control (FRC) teams to ensure seamless data flows, reporting integrity, and alignment on accounting treatments.
- • Build, scale, and maintain automated forecasting models for Cash Flow and Balance Sheet reporting to support global liquidity management and strategic capital allocation.
- • Lead the FP&A contribution to Regulatory Capital reporting, ensuring compliance, resilience, and forward-looking capital adequacy across all operating markets.
- • Champion efficiency by automating manual reporting tasks, data pipelines, and workflows using the FP&A platform (Aleph), advanced data tools, and AI/LLMs (Claude).
- • Design and scale dynamic management dashboards that deliver real-time insights into P&L metrics, unit economics, and departmental performance.
- • Partner directly with Finance Business Partners and Department Heads to track spend, manage departmental performance, and provide actionable budget optimization insights.
- • Play a leading role in the architecture, execution, and continuous improvement of the rolling quarterly re-forecasts and annual budgeting cycle.
- • Spearhead ad-hoc strategic projects including scenario modeling, fundraising support, and M&A analysis as required by business priorities.
- • Ensure financial data integrity through rigorous month-end close processes and alignment with accounting standards and internal controls.
- • Leverage ERP systems (particularly SAP S/4HANA) to streamline reporting, enhance data accuracy, and optimize financial workflows.
- • Utilize SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation to support deep-dive financial analysis and reporting requirements.
- • Communicate complex financial information clearly and compellingly to senior leadership through presentations and written narratives.
- • Maintain a proactive, solution-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Holds an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a top-tier, highly selective institution (e.g., IIT background or equivalent premium global university) ideally with a focus on engineering, mathematics, computer science, or finance.
- • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA equivalent).
- • 7+ years of progressive and relevant experience in Accounting/Finance/FP&A; ideally training at a top-tier accounting firm (Big 4 or equivalent) with experience in a high-growth tech or fintech environment.
- • Deep experience working within a Financial Control and Reporting team, with understanding of exceptional month-end close cycles.
- • Solid expertise in navigating and optimising ERP systems, with strong preference for SAP S/4HANA experience.
- • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in FP&A systems (e.g., Aleph, Anaplan) and Excel/Google Sheets.
- • Strong technical proficiency in data manipulation and extraction; hands-on experience with SQL is required.
- • Non-negotiable strong communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of synthesising complex data into clear, concise, and compelling storytelling for executive consumption.
