- • Vendelux is revolutionizing the event marketing landscape, empowering companies to discover and maximize the impact of their event sponsorships and attendance. As a Series A SaaS company, we provide the definitive system of record for event marketing, leveraging an AI-powered platform that delivers proprietary insights to high-growth organizations. Our mission is to help event marketers, the unsung heroes of successful companies, generate leads, build world-class brands, and achieve unparalleled success throughout the year. Founded in 2021 and backed by a $14 million Series A led by FirstMark (investors in Shopify, Pinterest, Airbnb, and more), Vendelux boasts a leadership team with deep expertise from industry giants like Bain, ZoomInfo, and Shutterstock.
- • We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically-minded FP&A Manager to join our dynamic team in New York. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives at the intersection of strategic insight and operational rigor, driving high-impact analysis, shaping pricing strategies, and developing data-driven forecasts for our revenue-critical functions. You will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of Vendelux, directly influencing our growth trajectory and operational efficiency.
- • As the FP&A Manager, you will own and refine our financial models, taking charge of end-to-end forecasting for Revenue, Billings, and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). This includes a deep dive into critical components such as churn rates, the financial impact of pricing adjustments, and customer retention strategies. Your responsibility will extend to leading our monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes, ensuring a high degree of accuracy while proactively identifying and articulating potential risks and opportunities.
- • A core aspect of this role involves building and maintaining a profound, granular understanding of our product and license-level performance. You will meticulously analyze actual financial results against forecasts, providing clear explanations for any variances. You will also manage the ARR bridge, offering insightful commentary on key monthly and quarterly trends at a customer level, alongside crucial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like gross retention, net retention, and the financial implications of our pricing strategies.
- • Maintaining a robust understanding of our financial systems, data flows, and the underlying assumptions that drive our ARR forecasts will be paramount. You will serve as the primary finance partner to our Sales and Revenue Operations teams, offering critical support and insights on bookings and ARR performance. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our Product and Pricing teams to assess the financial impact of proposed changes to our pricing, packaging, and overall monetization strategies, ensuring alignment with our financial goals.
- • A key deliverable will be the creation and presentation of concise, executive-ready insights and materials. These will be crucial for informing leadership decisions, supporting Board reporting, and facilitating strategic planning discussions. As the team grows, you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A revenue team, driving the adoption of automation and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Beyond these core responsibilities, you will provide essential support for ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives that arise, contributing to the broader financial health and strategic direction of Vendelux. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-growing, innovative SaaS company, working closely with a talented and experienced leadership team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with a significant and demonstrable focus on topline revenue forecasting, performance management, and SaaS metrics.
- • Proven track record of delivering insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and senior-level cross-functional stakeholders, particularly in Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- • Exceptional financial modeling skills, with the ability to build complex, dynamic models from scratch and synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable narratives and decision-driving results.
- • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, a strong ownership mentality, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Detail-oriented with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, concise, and executive-level communications, both written and verbal.
- • Experience with financial systems, data warehousing, and BI tools is highly desirable, as is foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and equity package in a rapidly growing Series A SaaS company.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) and company holidays.
- • Opportunity to work with a talented and experienced leadership team with a proven track record in the SaaS industry.
- • Professional development opportunities and a culture that encourages continuous learning and growth.
- • Be part of a mission-driven company that is transforming the event marketing industry.
