• • As a Freelance Lead Mobile Developer specializing in Kotlin Multiplatform, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our mobile application development at Valtech. This is a full-time, remote position based in North Macedonia, with an initial project duration from April 1st, 2024, to September 30th, 2026, with the strong potential for extension. You will be joining a dynamic international team, contributing to the creation of a cutting-edge cross-platform application that leverages the power of Kotlin Multiplatform.
• • Your primary focus will be on developing and enhancing a sophisticated cross-platform application, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience across both iOS and Android devices. This role demands a deep understanding of modern mobile development paradigms and a passion for innovation.
• • You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust mobile solutions using Kotlin Multiplatform. This includes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve working on critical components such as login and authorization systems, including the implementation of biometric authentication (e.g., Face ID) and other secure access methods. This requires a meticulous approach to security and user data protection.
• • You will actively utilize and champion modern mobile technologies and frameworks, including Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose for declarative UI development, Koin for dependency injection, Gradle for build automation, Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming, and Kotlin Flows for reactive streams. Proficiency in these technologies is key to success.
• • While the focus is on Kotlin Multiplatform, you will also be involved in certain native aspects of iOS and Android development. This dual perspective ensures a comprehensive understanding and ability to address platform-specific challenges when necessary, bridging the gap between shared and native code.
• • You will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. This includes collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
