- • As a Freelance Multimedia Localisation Specialist, you will play a critical role in adapting digital learning and multimedia content for global audiences, ensuring that instructional clarity, timing accuracy, and production quality are preserved across languages and cultures.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include localizing e-learning courses, training modules, videos, and interactive assets; adapting translations for on-screen text, subtitles, captions, and voice-over scripts; synchronizing audio, subtitles, and visual elements; editing multimedia files to maintain instructional intent; and troubleshooting timing, layout, and technical issues in multilingual outputs.
- • You will join Lilt Production, a global leader in AI-powered language technology, working as an independent contractor within a distributed community of linguists and subject matter experts dedicated to advancing human knowledge through multilingual AI and human-verified services.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in multimedia localization, expand your portfolio across industries, refine your technical and linguistic skills, and contribute to impactful projects that shape how humans and machines communicate across language barriers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in multimedia localization
- • Strong hands-on experience localising e-learning and digital learning content
- • Proficiency in Articulate 360, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe FrameMaker, DaVinci Resolve, CaptionHub, and Adobe Audition
- • Proven experience working with subtitles, captions, voice-over workflows, and on-screen text adaptation
- • Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and synchronization in video and interactive content
- • Ability to manage multiple localization projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
