  • • The Prelude team is comprised of seasoned professionals, including founders who previously contributed to the success of the Zenly team. Their firsthand experience highlighted the critical limitations of existing authentication solutions. During their tenure building products utilized by millions, they observed firsthand how SMS authentication had become prohibitively expensive, unreliable, and susceptible to spam and fraud. This realization directly led to the creation of Prelude, a company dedicated to rectifying these industry-wide issues.
  • • Today, Prelude is a dynamic and expanding team of 40 individuals, primarily based in Paris. We are united by a shared passion for building products that facilitate secure, high-performance user onboarding for a diverse clientele spanning Europe and the United States. To support this expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated, autonomous, and hands-on Freelance Recruiter.
  • • This individual will be entrusted with owning the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing through to successful candidate closing, across various departments as business needs dictate. You will collaborate directly with the founders and hiring managers, playing a pivotal role in defining hiring strategies, spearheading sourcing initiatives, and ensuring an outstanding candidate experience. Your primary mission will be to attract and secure top-tier talent, fueling Prelude's continued success and growth.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass full-cycle recruitment, including proactive outbound sourcing and managing the entire process until contract signature. You will engage in close partnership with hiring managers for role intake discussions and the creation of compelling job advertisements. Furthermore, you will collaborate with hiring managers to define interview processes and develop structured scorecards to ensure consistent and effective evaluation of candidates.
  • • You will provide strategic advice on compensation benchmarking and overall hiring strategy, ensuring our talent acquisition efforts are competitive and aligned with business objectives. Maintaining a clean and accurate Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is crucial for data integrity and effective reporting and forecasting. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact a rapidly growing, innovative startup.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong emphasis on outbound sourcing and closing candidates, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment in France.
  • • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define interview processes, and develop structured evaluation criteria.
  • • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • • A proactive, data-driven approach to recruitment, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity within the ATS.
  • • Fluency in both French and English is preferred, with ideally some prior exposure to international hiring practices.
